Writers’ Institute is a place for authors to work on their writing and navigate the publishing industry with agents, publishers, and UW–Madison writing instructors. It takes place April 12-15 at the Madison Concourse Hotel.

UW Advance includes English instruction, specialized lectures and seminars, cultural activities, field trips, and other opportunities to get acquainted with the University of Wisconsin–Madison.

The pre-Halloween fundraiser Night of the Living Humanities is on Oct. 26 at the UW Pyle Center, 5-7 p.m.
