Meet children’s author Dean Robbins
Enter to win a pass to a Continuing Studies brunch-and-learn featuring Dean Robbins, the award-winning author of the picture book Margaret and the Moon: How Margaret Hamilton Saved the First Lunar Landing. He’ll share the true story of pioneering computer scientist Margaret Hamilton, a math-loving girl who grew up to help NASA put astronauts on the moon.
Youth Mental Health First Aid
Join parents, teachers, caregivers, and other youth programming professionals to learn how to help an adolescent (age 12-18) who is experiencing a mental health or addiction challenge, or who is in crisis. Training is offered in a single full-day session or in two half-day sessions.
