Luoma runs Darcy Luoma Coaching & Consulting and also serves as lead instructor for the University of Wisconsin-Madison’s Professional Life Coaching Certificate program. In her coaching business, she motivates clients to take action in their lives, whether it’s clarifying their goals, achieving work/life balance, or developing leadership skills. She specializes in helping them reach their fullest potential.

In the Professional Life Coaching Certificate program, Luoma guides participants through a nine-month series of face-to-face classes and teleconferences that lead to professional credentialing. The program is accredited by the International Coach Federation and is unique in offering a cohort model, so that students gain a sense of community.

Luoma and other coaches also teach individual courses at UW-Madison for those who want to learn more about life coaching or to keep their certification skills current.

“We are proud to have Madison’s Favorite Life Coach leading our Professional Life Coaching Certificate program,” says director Aphra Mednick. “Darcy has proven her dedication to the profession by earning her Master Certified Coach credentialing through the International Coach Federation. That is the highest credential in life coaching, achieved by only six percent of ICF-certified coaches worldwide. Darcy is both an exceptional coach and an exceptional teacher who understands the unique needs of adult learners.”
