Management Assessment for Personal Planning and Development

Upcoming dates (1)

For registration assistance: 608-262-2451

Summary

Managers have the privilege (and challenge!) of interacting with a variety of people with a variety of perspectives in today's workforce. These viewpoints are shaped by different backgrounds, experiences and personalities. As individuals and groups communicate and work together, these differences in ideas, styles and priorities can cause frustration and judgment; hurting our ability to connect and collaborate. This class will use the DiSC® assessment instrument to build self-awareness and explore the many facets that shape the way we see our world and function at work. By incorporating neuroscience and the DiSC® framework, we will learn to better understand our perspectives, identify and adapt to the perspectives of others and to capture insightful synergies. We will discuss how to use tools and strategies to make this process easier so we can discover more options and solutions in our teams and projects.

Prior to the live session, you will be required to complete a personal assessment instrument. The cost of the assessment is included in the class fee.

What Attendees Are Saying

The class allows you to see yourself as a manager and how employees see you.
Great class! Loved the engagement. Learned more about myself and how I can work with my team.
The group collaboration was great — it was awesome to hear advice/opinions from people actually in the styles. It was more useful than just presenting info and facts.
The assessment tools are immediately applicable to me and my team and will help create better communications.
