The dedication exploration of Cultural Humility to Cultural Reverence (CH2CR) increases the cultural lens of all mental health and human service providers. The goal is to enhance your ability to serve increasingly diverse client populations and work with increasingly diverse teams.

Join us for a workshop to cultivate emotional well-being in caretakers. This course is designed to be a sanctuary for anyone who has been on the front lines providing mental health care during the pandemic. We will explore the impact of COVID-19 on ourselves as helpers, examine current research, experiment with strategies to nurture the healer within and build our resilience while also connecting with each other. Please be prepared to engage in a variety of relaxation practices throughout this workshop. No prior yoga or meditation experience is required.

We already know that grief is a complicated, multi-faceted process that affects all of us. Certain types of grief and loss can exacerbate these challenges. Explore disenfranchised grief, ambiguous loss, complicated grief and anticipatory grief, plus effective strategies to manage them.

This 20–hour course is designed for learners who have intermediate knowledge and skills needed for the practice of Motivational Interviewing (MI) and want to strengthen their existing skillset. Participate in four, 3–hour, live online, instructor-led sessions that will include lecture, discussion and small group practice sessions. Enhance your learning with 6-hours of required independent coursework. Improve your MI practice through peer (one session) and instructor (two sessions) feedback from standardized client interviews. Course registration includes the textbook Building Motivational Interviewing Skills: A Practitioner Workbook by David B. Rosengren and access to an online learning management system.

Recorded audio from a one-day program on the psychology of forgiveness addresses four questions: What is forgiveness? Why forgive? How do people forgive? How can we bring forgiveness to families, schools, the workplace and other communities for better emotional health?

Motivational Interviewing (MI) is a well-established, evidence-based practice for addressing a range of clinical problems across multiple settings and systems. This 40-hour certification course offers participants an opportunity to develop competencies in MI.
