Madison’s Monona Terrace Convention Center was a buzzing hive of innovation and inspiration Aug. 7-9, during the University of Wisconsin–Madison’s 2018 Distance Teaching & Learning Conference. Hundreds of distance education professionals gained knowledge, developed skills, and glimpsed the future of their profession while enjoying Wisconsin’s beautiful capital city.

Attendees filled their experience with keynote speeches, workshops, exhibition hall visits, and networking events. They explored topics such as using storytelling to enhance the learning experience, designing culturally inclusive learning environments, mastering new educational technologies, and producing high-quality online videos. Throughout it all, they learned from leading experts—and each other.
