Overview
Hybrid and remote work environments are the new norm. Research shows that for remote-capable employees, hybrid is now the dominant work pattern. The good news is that hybrid workers are more engaged at work, experience less burnout and are less likely to quit. Findings are similar for fully remote team members*.
The bad news is that many organizations and their leaders struggle with how to leverage the benefits and manage the challenges*. These organizations are missing the benefits!
*Gallup. October 9, 2023. The Future of the Office Has Arrived: It’s Hybrid.
In this program, participants will learn best practices for workplace communication and collaboration, relationship building and how they’re different from face-to-face interactions. They’ll consider onboarding new members, and how a team member dashboard is a useful tool to provide feedback, assess performance, and avoid proximity bias.
Participants will be able to:
- Connect and align team members behind their team’s purpose and vision.
- Apply communication practices to build trust and collaboration among onsite, remote, and hybrid team members.
- Assess and apply key competencies of high-performing team leaders and members.
- Apply best practices to track and assess performance, lead productive and engaging virtual meetings, and facilitate team collaboration and decision-making.
- Employ techniques to engage team members through recognition and reward practices.
