Human-Centered Leadership Certificate

Subject Area: Leadership, Management & Workplace Skills→Workplace Culture & Belonging
This human-centered leadership training certificate consists of coursework designed for leaders and aspiring leaders committed to developing teams that demonstrate resilience and adaptability. By focusing on individual team members' contributions, motivations and development, the human-centered leader fosters the kind of confidence and sense of well-being needed to confront change productively and prevent burnout. To earn the certificate, learners shall complete four core courses and one elective, totaling 35-38 class hours.

Do you seek to guide, inspire, and empower others to reach their potential and get real results? The UW Certified Professional Coach certificate program is an International Coaching Federation (ICF) Level 2 program that prepares you to be an Associate Certified (ACC) or Professional Certified Coach (PCC), depending on number of client experience hours you have accrued.

Building Motivational Interviewing Competency (In-person Component)

This 38-hour belnded course (in-person on UW-Madison campus, live Zoom sessions, anytime Canvas course site) with instructor Laura Saunders, is for participants want to learn/relearn knowlege and skills to reach Motivational Interviewing proficiency.

Grief Support Specialist Certificate

Subject Area: Behavioral Health→Grief and Loss
This one-of-a-kind, 40-hour, online certificate with instructor Erica Srinivasan targets helping professionals, funeral home directors, clergy, peer educators and others. It provides knowledge and skills to create/enhance a professional specialty to support people who have suffered a major loss.

Get a deep knowledge and effective tools that mid-level functional and technical managers need to lead within their immediate areas of responsibility and impact the success of their wider organizations. The certificate consists of seven required courses. Take up to three years to complete this certificate.
