Portuguese is the official language in nine countries and one of the top five languages for doing business globally. UW-Madison Continuing Studies’ Portuguese language courses will help you master the basics of communicating in Portuguese while learning about the Portuguese-speaking world.
At a Glance
What: Practical and flexible language classes taught by highly skilled instructors who are experts in their field. Our creative approach will give you a solid understanding of the Portuguese language and get you started speaking right away.
Who: Any adult leaner who wants to learn to speak Portuguese for conversation, travel, or business. All language classes are open to the public.
How: In-person classes in Madison on evenings or weekends.
