Attendance is required at all sessions. To minimize disruptions and foster a rich learning experience, participants are asked not to come to class unless they can attend the entire session (e.g., if a student knows that they need to leave early, they will be asked to not to come to class that day, etc.). Students are able to miss up to two (2) sessions.

In addition, students are required to routinely work with classmates outside of scheduled class times. Exact dates and times for those meetings are to be determined, and dependent on participant schedules.

Delivery format

UW Certified Professional Coach (UWCPC) is held completely online via Zoom. All content, including teaching and materials of the UWCPC, is in the English language.

Technology requirements

Computer, recording tools (to create MP3 files) and high-speed internet access are required. We use video conferencing software and the University of Wisconsin learning platform Canvas. You do not need experience with these tools prior to beginning the program, however, you must have basic computer skills.
