PLATO: Participatory Learning and Teaching Organization


You are eligible to join PLATO if you are willing to commit time and energy to the exchange of knowledge in a continuing learning process.  While PLATO focuses on serving 50+ learners, people of all ages are welcome to join.  The only requirement is the love of lifelong learning.

The annual membership fee of $60 entitles you to attend all PLATO courses and special events.  For some special events, such as the annual luncheon or a bus trip, there may be an additional fee and some courses require the purchase of a resource book.

PLATO membership renews on July 1.  You will receive a prorated member fee of $30 if you join between December 1 and March 31.  Membership renewal reminders are mailed at the end of June.

PLATO is a nonprofit corporation organized under Wisconsin law and is recognized by the U.S. Internal Revenue Service as a tax exempt organization under section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code.  Annual membership fees are not tax deductible.
