Visiting International Student Program (VISP)

  • Short-term study for international students not in a formal exchange program

Formal exchange programs

  • Short-term study for international students nominated by their home university to attend UW-Madison through a formal exchange program

Professional capstone certificates

  • Specialized training at the graduate level: online and on-campus programs in Actuarial Science, Communication Sciences & Disorders, Computer Sciences, Geographic Information Studies, and Professional French Studies.

Summer Term

  • 1,000 courses in 1- to 8-week sessions, many online

  • Full-time study of English as a Second language (ESL)
