The Division of Continuing Studies has partnered with the Wisconsin Department of Children and Families to offer several conferences in the field of child welfare. These conferences were previously organized by the Wisconsin Child Welfare Professional Development System (WCWPDS).


Adoption Services: The Changing Face of Adoption, September 2018

  • The Wisconsin Department of Children and Families sponsors this annual conference for staff who work in all areas of adoption.

Child Welfare and the Courts: Inspiring Hope and Building Resiliency Among Our Youth

  • The Wisconsin Department of Children and Families and Children’s Court Improvement Project sponsor this biennial conference for judicial officers, county and tribal agency management, and attorneys involved in child welfare and juvenile justice.
