WISCONSIN REGIONAL ART PROGRAM (WRAP)
Exhibition and workshop opportunities for non-professional artists.
Wisconsin Regional Art Program (WRAP) encourages nonprofessional, student, and emerging artists to create and exhibit their work across Wisconsin. Run by UW–Madison Continuing Studies, WRAP is looking forward from a rich past of 76 years.
Make art! Either independently, through one of the many art classes offered at UW–Madison Continuing Studies, or anywhere else. WRAP encourages artists at all levels to practice their craft.
Show your work! Register for a local WRAP exhibition and workshop in your area. Award winners from these local exhibitions will have their work shown at the annual State Exhibition in Madison, WI, and are eligible for thousands of dollars in prizes.
Attend your local WRAP workshop, or register for the annual State Conference Day event. Be inspired by our incredible speakers, meet other artists, and gain invaluable encouragement and feedback from the critiques.
Below is a selection of pieces from our 2017 Annual Art Exhibition, now on display at UW–Madison’s Agricultural Hall. Read more about the Agricultural Hall Exhibition featuring works from Wisconsin artists.
Donate to WRAP
Wisconsin Regional Artist Association (WRAA) led a multi-year fundraising effort to create an endowment to ensure the programs long-term health and support. To ensure another 75 years, please consider donating to the WRAP endowment.
WRAP and WRAA
WRAP works in collaboration with Wisconsin Regional Arts Association (WRAA), its nonprofit sister. WRAA cosponsors the State Exhibition and Conference in September and provides multiple publications to their membership.
