More than half of US adults experienced trauma as children. Coupled with today's stressors, employees are dealing with surging mental health hazards that impact the workplace. The lingering pandemic, economic uncertainties, social inequity, and other factors contribute. PTSD is common even outside of the military with an estimated 30% of the US population currently demonstrating post-traumatic stress symptoms.
