Research indicates that societal and personal stressors associated with the COVID-19 pandemic have had a detrimental impact on our mental health. Health and human services providers need current information, strategies and resources to better meet the needs of their clients/patients. In this class you will acquire knowledge and skills to address the varieties of grief that have been manifesting themselves during the pandemic.

At the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:
- Describe theories of grief counseling relevant to COVID-19
- Identify varieties of grief that have been manifesting themselves during the pandemic
- Explain various counseling tools and techniques that can be used to address grief that manifested during the pandemic
