Summary

This class is offered in a one-day, highly participatory live-online format.

Only through true listening and understanding can we hope to create communities of integrity that sustain us and elicit our best actions. Whether you're in a discussion among members of your work team, your family or any gathering, you can learn to listen with curiosity and welcome multiple perspectives. Slowing down, examining assumptions and listening deeply not only builds stronger, more trusting relationships, it also supports thinking together and discovering more innovative solutions.

Meet your instructor

Kathy Germann

(MA, The Ohio State University) has more than 35 years of experience teaching, consulting, facilitating, and coaching with more than 350 client groups across the country. She has served as an ad hoc instructor for UW-Madison for 29 years. Germann has taught on three college campuses and was an executive director in the nonprofit sector. She is known for her sense of humor and highly participatory teaching style.
