Experienced instructors include:

Sarah Young is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC, International Coaching Federation) and Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC, Coaches Training Institute). She is also a Certified Scrum Master through the Scrum Alliance. Sarah started her consulting firm, Zing Collaborative, after an eight-year career in the corporate world leading people, projects, and teams. Her clients range from high-tech start-ups to nonprofits, large companies, and state agencies.

Laura V. Page, MS, MS-J, was an independent management consultant for 24 years before returning to UW-Madison as a leadership and management program director. She currently heads the area programming team.

What: The Performance Coaching Skills for Managers certificate is designed to train managers/supervisors, team leaders, and human resource professionals to use coaching as a performance management style that motivates others to take responsibility for their growth and reach important goals.

When: Module 1: July 22-23, 2020; Module 2: July 29-30, 2020 | 9 a.m. to 3:45 p.m.

Where: UW Arboretum Visitor Center

Who should attend: Leaders, managers, and HR professionals who want to add coaching skills to their tool kit and motivate work performance through employee engagement.

Cost: $1,950; gov’t/nonprofit* $1,350. Lunch included.
