Experienced instructors include:

Sarah Young, lead instructor, is a Certified Professional Coach (PCC) by the International Coaching Federation and a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC) by the Coaches Training Institute. She is also a Certified Scrum Master through the Scrum Alliance. After an eight-year career in the corporate world leading people, projects, and teams, Sarah started her consulting firm, Zing Collaborative. Her clients range from high-tech start-ups to nonprofits, large companies, and state agencies. In addition to working with individuals and teams, Sarah is a frequent seminar instructor and public speaker.

Laura V. Page, MS, MS-J, was an independent management consultant for 24 years before returning to UW-Madison as a leadership and management program director. She currently heads the area programming team.

What: The Workplace Coaching Certificate (WCC) is a new certificate designed to train managers/supervisors, team leaders, and human resource professionals to use coaching as a performance management style that motivates others to take responsibility for their growth and reach important goals.

When: Module 1: Oct 2-3, 2019; Module 2: Oct. 23-24, 2019 | 9am to 3:45pm

Where: Pyle Center, 702 Langdon St, Madison

Who should attend: Leaders, managers, and HR professionals who want to add coaching skills to their tool kit and motivate work performance through employee engagement.

Cost: $1,900; gov’t/nonprofit* $1,300. Lunch included.

Credit hours: 24 instructional hours; 2.4 Continuing Education Units (CEUs)
