2017 Catalog cover

Lifelong learners are the stars of the 2017 Summer Catalog from the University of Wisconsin-Madison Division of Continuing Studies. The catalog features comments from students who’ve taken Continuing Studies classes for personal enrichment or professional development and come away transformed.

Erin Swope calls the Summer Music Clinic “one of the best parts of my summer for five years. It showed me that I always want to keep music in my life.”

The Summer Catalog, which is available online and in the April 13 edition of Isthmus, is a gateway to these kinds of momentous learning experiences. It offers more than a hundred face-to-face classes, online classes, workshops, and educational travel options—a wide range of accessible, affordable opportunities for developing a skill or exploring a topic. No matter your age or your interests, everyone is welcome.

The catalog also features a Lifelong Learning Giveaway, which you can enter by May 15 to win up to $100 off on a Continuing Studies class. Ten randomly selected winners will be notified no later than May 30, 2017.

Choose your adventure

The Summer Catalog’s personal enrichment classes include art, creative writing, dance, music, languages, and history and humanities. Among the new offerings are Art Camp for Adults, Hamilton: A Cultural Revolution, Vocal Jazz, and Advanced Spanish Conversation: The Films of Almodóvar.
