Writer's success story

Pat McConnel of Portland, Oregon publishes poem in literary journal

Pat's poem "The Mammogram" was published in the Spring, 2014 issue of Enhance Magazine.

She has taken the online courses "Getting to Good" and "Taking the Poetic Leap" with Angela Rydell, and worked with Angela through DCS's critique services.

Pat says, "It has been a pleasure and a very positive learning process. I have had 2 poems published since starting my online work with Angela and the UW online classes."

Pat is writing and publishing poetry at 70 years of age.
