EmploymentIf you are interested in helping in the education and support of enthusiastic young musicians we encourage you to apply to the counseling staff of the University of Wisconsin–Madison Summer Music Clinic. Music Clinic counselors are role models, mentors, and communicate a respect for the basic framework of the camp rules that keep our students safe and well-supervised. Teams of counselors share the responsibility for floors of students who are grouped together by age and grade. Counselors eat in the cafeteria along with the students, plan recreational and social activities that take place when students are not in music-related classes, and are expected to be an interactive and vibrant part of the student experience. Counselors are expected to consistently respond to camper concerns and issues using guidelines that the dorm supervisors recommend in counselor training. The counselor training day, June 15, forms strong and creative teams and is required for all counselors. Middle School Session June 16-22 Staff Application Form (pdf) Staff Reference Form (pdf) |
