Her teaching emphasizes the importance of the brain in emotions and controlling our behaviors, making complex neuroscience understandable and applicable to daily life.   • Eng Braun is former administrator of the Division of Research and Analysis in the Wisconsin Department of Revenue. Teaches: Policy Analysis for Non-Analysts

  • Harold Coltharp recently retired from the State Records Center of the Wisconsin Department of Administration, where he worked for over 15 years. He is a Wisconsin Certified Public Manager and has been a member of the Madison chapter of the Association of Records Managers and Administrators for over ten years. Teaches: Records Management

  • Jeanine Critchley is the former director of the UW-Madison Office of Risk Management. Teaches: Risk Management

  • Michael Daun is a private financial consultant and the former deputy comptroller for the City of Milwaukee.  Teaches: Budgeting; Financial Management.

  • Robbi Dreifuerst is an outreach program manager in the Division of Continuing Studies at UW-Madison and director of the Wisconsin Certified Public Manager Program. Teaches: Management Assessment for Personal Planning & Development

  • Boris Frank, president of Boris Frank Associates, is a nationwide consultant on fundraising, proposal writing, and grants development. Teaches: Grantsmanship; Writing Effective Grant Proposals

  • Phillip Freeburg is a local government law educator in the Local Government Center of the University of Wisconsin-Extension, Cooperative Extension.   • Al Guyant is a retired public administration and nationally recognized trainer, facilitator, coach, and author with over 40 years of experience. Teaches: Ethics, Values & the Public Manager; Advanced Issues in Ethics; Presenting Yourself to One or Many; Media Relations

  • Bob Hanle recently retired as team leader in the State Budget Office in the Department of Administration, after having worked in Wisconsin state government for more than 31 years. Teaches: The State Budget Process

  • Mary Hoddy coordinates Staff Education and Training at UW-Madison's Wisconsin Union, where she develops and facilitates programs in communication skills, coaching, management, learning styles and workshop design. Teaches: Keys for Coaching Employees

  • Alice Honeywell has helped adults improve their writing skills for more than 30 years. She has worked at both the University of Wisconsin Press and the UW-Madison La Follette School of Public Affairs, and has written and edited for a variety of business, nonprofit and public sector organizations.   • Tim Jeffery is a human resource consultant who previously served 14 years as director of labor relations for the City of Madison and 11 years as director of human resources for the Madison Metropolitan School District.   • Gary Keller is a faculty member in the College of Business and Management at Cardinal Stritch University and president of Keller Management Services, a management consulting firm. Teaches: Leadership; Strategic Planning; Managing Organizational Change

  • Keith Krinke is the former director of Finance, Budget and Management for the Wisconsin Technical College System. He has extensive experience in public sector labor relations and negotiations at both the state and local level. Teaches: Labor/Employee Relations

  • Larry Larmer is a professor emeritus of communication at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He also serves as an outreach specialist in the areas of parliamentary procedure, conducting government meetings, and minutes with the Local Government Center of the University of Wisconsin-Extension. Teaches: The Conduct of Public Meetings; Working with Councils, Boards & Commissions.

  • Mordecai Lee is a professor of governmental affairs at UW-Milwaukee and coordinator of UW-Extension's Governmental Affairs Consortium. He has also served 3 terms in the Wisconsin State Assembly and 2 terms as a State Senator. Teaches: Legislative Relations; Phase III Capstone

  • Tyrone Letto is manager of Middleware in the Division of Information Technology at UW-Madison. He formerly served as a section chief in the Division of Enterprise Technology, Wisconsin Department of Administration. Ty is also a Wisconsin Certified Public Manager. Teaches: IT Issues in the Public Sector

  • Peter Maier recently retired from the Center for Urban Initiatives and Research at UW-Milwaukee. Teaches: Using Research for Better Decisions

  • Paul Riehemann is founder of the wellness training, consulting and coaching practice, Well TodaySM. He is certified by the National Wellness Institute and National Exercise and Sports Trainers Association, and has completed two Ironman World Championship races in Hawaii.   • Will Strycker is a private consultant with extensive experience in human resources, labor relations and management development. He previously served as vice president of Human Resources, director of Labor Relations, chief labor negotiator, and director of Diversity at Madison Area Technical College, and also served as a commissioner with the Wisconsin Employment Relations Commission.
