Medieval History Seminars Abroad: Wales and its Borderlands

Plans are underway for our 38th medieval study tour. Next fall’s seminar focuses on the rich historical landscape, art, and architecture of Wales and its Borderlands. The tentative itinerary includes visits to Chepstow, Tintern, Cardiff, Caerphilly, Kidwelly, St. David’s, Harlech, Caernarfon, Beaumaris, Conwy, St. Winifred’s Well, Valle Crucis, Abergavenny, Tretower, Ludlow, Stokesay, Hereford, Worcester, Gloucester, Tewkesbury, Shrewsbury, Berkeley, Bradford-on-Avon, Ewelme, and Oxford.
