Doing business in the Latino world
Enhance your knowledge of the business world and the Spanish language.
"Doing Business in the Latino World" is a noncredit self-paced business Spanish course where the instructor sets the structure for the class and the student decides the content. If you are comfortable reading and speaking conversational Spanish but need to make a presentation, write or read a report, complete a proposal, or any other kind of business related activity in Spanish, this course will be your best tool.
The instructor will guide you from developing an idea to finalizing a complete draft. Together you will search for the right title, write a description, finalize an outline, and keep writing drafts until your project is complete.
Because this course is designed around your needs, you will be the only student in the class and the instructor can provide individualized attention to your project.
Topics for this class can be as different as "Report to install a new brewery in Spain", "Doing a comprehensive reading of a Spanish book", "Developing a marketing plan for a recreational resort in Baja California", or "How to promote the dairy business in Monterey." Of course, the instructor is not an expert in all these topics. You are the expert and the instructor helps you write and organize your ideas in Spanish, and walks with you through the entire process.
Additional learning materials are available on the CD ROM, optional including images, hundreds of recordings and sample business documents such as an invoice, a memo or contracts.
Costs
$110. Work at your own pace and take up to a year to finish the course. Register any time. 1.2 CEUs.
