Online art course: Independent and personalized art exploration: painting, drawing and mixed media
A noncredit, online art class. Enjoy individual guidance from an expert teacher as you create art.
What is your next step as an artist? Is it a new medium; improved drawing or painting skills; color, composition, or content development? You choose! Collaborate with the instructor on a five-lesson plan focused on what skills you want to explore and develop.
Artwork may be submitted by mail or online for feedback. Work at your own pace and take up to a year to finish.
How it works
You can start anytime, and there are no required hours to log on. It's all done with one-on-one correspondence with the instructor. Because of the one-on-one nature of our courses, you'll find them an excellent "coaching" or mentoring situation that will keep you inspired. If you want to just work on your own, that's fine too. We're also here throughout the year if you have questions.
Costs
$120 plus postage. E-mail Helen Klebesadel (klebesadel@tds.net) for more details. Work at your own pace and take up to a year to finish. See how to register for registration options. You will earn 2.5 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) when you complete this online art course.
