I have always been interested in all aspects of the art world. When choosing what I wish to convey in my paintings, it always entails the way light hits my subjects and the reflections that the light source creates. In “Apples in Wax Paper”, I photographed my arrangement in the kitchen, capturing the morning sun coming through the kitchen window.
