Chinese Fine Arts Association Award

My art career began in 2004. I attended a drawing class sponsored by the Lakeland Art League. The support I received that afternoon was the beginning. Five years later, I find myself attending workshops, studying art books and reading magazines daily. Hours of practice have benefitted me to the point of being recognized as a serious artist. Most of my paintings relate to birds, wildlife, and portraits. Wanting a beaver displayed at a taxidermy shop resulted in this pastel painting of a beaver entitled “Sustenance.”
