Business of Art: Exhibiting Your Art
If you're making artwork and are ready to take the leap to exhibitions, this one-session class shows you how to mount your own individual or group exhibition. We explore timeline, preparation, venues, promotion, and installation. We also discuss the joy and challenges of mounting a professional art exhibition and bringing your work to a larger audience.

Have a great idea? In this one-session introduction to grantwriting, learn the basics of how to plan a proposal, present your idea in a compelling way, and communicate constructively with funders.

Instructors
Tom Linfield is the vice president of grantmaking and community initiatives at the Madison Community Foundation. In this capacity he facilitates $1.5 million in annual grantmaking and works with non profits throughout Dane County to build on community assets. Linfield was previously the training and grants director for the National Center for Outreach, grants manager for Wisconsin Public Television, and director of foundation relations for Edgewood College.
