Meet your presenters

Gary Schoener (PhD) is a clinical psychologist and director of consultation and training for the Walk-In Counseling Center in Minneapolis, after having served as executive director for 37 years. He is an author, expert witness, and internationally known consultant and trainer on issues of ethics, professional boundaries, and risk management.

David Mays (MD, PhD) is the past forensic director at the Mendota Mental Health Institute in Madison and serves on the clinical faculty at UW-Madison and the Medical College of Wisconsin. Awards include the Exemplary Psychiatrist Award from the National Alliance for the Mentally Ill and the Exceptional Performance Award from the Wisconsin Department of Health and Family Services.
