Dance & Theatre

Helping performing artists improve their craft and achieve their goals

UW-Madison Continuing Studies’ theatre program is the premier resource for actors, directors, teachers, and theatre-program administrators in the Midwest. We help theatre artists and administrators improve their craft and achieve their professional goals. Our performance and international study programs annually reach thousands of people with enriching and advancing theatre experiences.

UW-Madison Continuing Studies offers a variety of noncredit dance and movement programs for every level of experience. Beginners enjoy the welcoming atmosphere of our noncredit classes, while experienced students can continue learning at their level. Improve your technique and skills, creativity, appreciation, and professional knowledge. From ballet to salsa, from Irish to African—experience how great it feels to express yourself through dance.
