Special programs
Experience Shakespeare in 3 engaging ways: online, on stage, or through 1-day workshops. Choose the right way for you to dig deeper into Shakespeare’s work and find your own approach to enjoy the plays, the language, and live performances.
Wisconsin Wrights and Forward Theater Company have joined together to support and develop new theatrical work, awarding Wisconsin playwrights with the rare opportunity to develop their plays in a professional public reading series.
A full week in July of skill building, camaraderie, and performance under the tutelage of UW-Madison theatre faculty, staff, and graduates.
This autumn Festival provides students and teachers an opportunity to learn from trained theatre professionals and educators, to take the stage, and to watch their peers perform. All Wisconsin high schools are invited to attend.
Community theatre managing directors gather every fall at UW-Madison to work together, share stories of challenges and solutions, learn about other theatre operations and meet colleagues from across the country.
