Ballet 1
The study of ballet technique formulates a combined appreciation for dance, music, and art through development of grace, coordination, strength, and discipline.

Ballet 2
Explore all aspects of public sector quality improvement, including the manager’s role in TQI, ways to establish and measure your product, and success stories in other public agencies.

Ballet 3
Learn the systematic process of recognition and analysis necessary in problem solving, including communication processes to improve creativity; roles for groups and teams; how to define problems in different ways; and the limitations of your present problem-solving style.

Ballet 4

This course familiarizes you with various structures for developing creative dance in the moment. Experience the joy of your own authentic dance movements.

Dance Education/Movement Explorations
This web-based course demonstrates using dance in the classroom and practical materials that provide varied dance experiences for students and teachers.

Dance Performance: from Studio to Stage
Take a behind-the-scenes look at Kanopy Dance Company's fall concert. Study the creative process, from music selection and costume and lighting design to how the choreographer and dancers prepare.

Grassroots Marketing for the Arts
Learn how to develop a promotion plan to successfully market events, concerts, shows, and seasons.

Guest Artist Master Class: Chen-Style Taijiquan
Learn the single movement principle of taiji: leading with the core. We cover basic patterns, turns, and moves of the original t'ai chi style (Chen-style Taijiquan) and explore the 4 Ps of taiji: physics, physiology, psychology, and philosophy.

Irish Step Dance
This class introduces you to the basics of solo Irish dancing, with a focus on jigs, reels, and hornpipes.

Latin Dance/Salsa
New and experienced dancers: Learn to lead and follow with skill and confidence. Learn the basic patterns, styling, turns, and common moves for salsa, merengue, rumba, cha cha, bolero, and more.

Living the Creative Life
Using The Artist's Way by Julia Cameron as our guide, you'll explore ways to recover the joy and courage to pursue your artistic dreams.

Middle Eastern Dance: Raks Sharki

Modern Dance Technique 1
Explore concepts of space, time, and energy while developing coordination, physical alignment, movement flow, and familiarity with the vocabulary of modern dance.

Qi Gong
Qi gong is part of traditional Chinese medicine. Using breath work, movement, balance work, concentration, self-massage, and visualization, qi gong works to move qi (ch'i) through the body/mind to improve health, stimulate healing, and reduce stress.

School of the Arts at Rhinelander
School of the Arts offers nearly 60 workshops for adults in art and folk art, body/mind/spirit, digital media, food and fitness, music, and writing.

T'ai Chi
In this introductory class you learn the principles of t'ai chi movement and form, and exercises that apply the discipline.

Tap Rhythms
Tap classes focus on learning and executing technique and on developing rhythm, timing, and tempo in an upbeat atmosphere. This beginning-level class introduces form, with emphasis on rhythm and movement combinations.

Yoga Basics
This class introduces you to the core concepts of Alignment Yoga. It's designed for those new to yoga, as well as those with previous yoga experience who want to deepen their practice and learn to practice at home.
