From Director Lynn Tarnoff

We are proud to present our 51st annual School of the Arts at Rhinelander. Last year's anniversary of 50 summers full of art was certainly a reason to celebrate, but even more important is that we embrace our vision of future summers as well. We hope your children may someday join us for our 100 year celebration!

What you can expect this year

An expanded Visual Arts track. More than 20 visual arts classes, with everything from photography (SLRs and phone cameras!) to rosemaling (Norwegian flower painting).

New and refreshed writing workshops. Everything you loved about previous writing workshops, refreshed and revitalized for 2014. Plus we introduce new instructors who each bring their unique gifts and years of experience.

Even more Mind/Body/Spirit and Culinary Arts and Nutrition classes. Paint cookies (no kidding!), learn how to lose weight, develop your spiritual "bucket list" … whatever you need to live—and enjoy—a healthier life all around. End your afternoon with Yoga For Every Body for a rejuvenating, one-of-a-kind SOA experience.

Flexible schedule! Register for a single day, for the weekend, or extend your School of the Arts experience all the way to Wednesday. With more than 50 1-, 2-, 3-, and 5-day workshops, you can craft your own creative mix and get the most out of your SOA experience.

Something for every level of experience. We have beginner, intermediate, and advanced workshops, so you can find the level that's right for you without being afraid to try something completely new. We're here for you every step of the way!

Lots of great extras. Like the Music Showcase and the School of the Arts at Rhinelander Open House. See the agenda and special events page» for all the details.
