Printmaking: Creating Relief Prints
Using a Printing Press

Gain a foundation in relief printmaking techniques in this 6-week class, and start cranking out editions after learning how to operate a printing press. Experiment with mark-making, carve blocks, mix ink, tear paper, and let the press reveal your print! If you already know the basics, build on them, and amp up your prints by playing with scale, ink layering, printing on fabric, and monotype techniques. Consumable materials are included; other supplies required. $22 materials fee is paid directly to the instructor at the first class.
