Papermaking

Create unique translucent and opaque, shaped, textured, and dimensional handmade papers in UW-Madison's paper mill. Wear your boots and get your hands wet as you explore plant fibers, sheet forming, watermarks, pulp-painting, and other color and inclusion techniques. Learn how to cast paper to create richly detailed 3-dimensional pieces. No experience necessary. $10 materials fee is paid directly to the instructor at the first class.
