Painting: Master Copying at the Chazen

Copying the works of old masters in order to understand how they worked has been an invaluable training tool for centuries. Museum copying gives you an opportunity to study brushwork and paint application, color decisions, edges, form description, and amplification. In partnership with the Chazen Museum of Art, this class lets you spend 8 weeks copying a portion or all of a painting. Supplies required.
