The course is open to anyone with at least an intermediate English level. If you have already studied English, but you need some grammar practice and review, take this online placement test» to help you determine your level. (If your result is “Intermediate” or “Upper Intermediate,” then you’re in the right place.)

In this course, you will review the simple past, past progressive, past perfect, and present perfect verb tenses in a fun setting. You will complete a project based on your own personal history and meet people from the Madison area. No other course is required before you take this course. Materials will be provided in class, so you don’t need to bring anything except a pen or pencil. We will take a break, and coffee and snacks are available for purchase from Aldo’s Café: www.aldoscafemadison.com
