On Elegies: Writing From Grief and Loss

The elegy as a form of writing can transform grief and loss into art, and it can be a process of healing and memorial. Explore reading and writing elegies as a way to reflect on grief and loss while creating a literary memorial for the person or thing that has passed. Expect a moving and inspiring experience reading a wide range of classic and contemporary approaches to the elegy and writing your own elegies in response to those models. All levels welcome.
