Ambiguous Loss, Shattered Dreams, and Disruptive Changes

Perspectives and tools for working with individuals and families facing developmental and unexpected life events are presented, demonstrated, discussed, and practiced. Utilize emerging and tried-and-true models for grief and bereavement care as we address: distinctions of change and transition; losses both clear and ambiguous; shattered dreams; following metaphors of loss and hope; literary resources in grief care; new insights about resiliency and loss; and realistic and honest hope.
