Online art course: Advanced art critique for artists

This is an opportunity to get individual guidance and supportive critique on your artwork from an expert teacher and artist.

This is an online, noncredit course.

This critique is designed for the emerging artist that needs to figure out their next steps in their development as an artist and/or for the advanced artist that has been working in isolation too long and just needs some useful feedback on where they are going with their art.  All media are welcome.

Artwork may be submitted by regular mail or digitally online (you will need a good digital camera). You will receive feedback on an initial portfolio, plus four additional contacts focused on the part of your artwork and portfolio development that would be most useful to you. Whether you are seeking your authentic voice as an artist; or want to focus on developing a consistently strong body of work; or you just want to strengthen the work you are already doing or find a new direction.
Work at your own pace and take up to a year to finish.

How it works

You can start anytime, and there are no required hours to log on. It's all done with one-on-one correspondence with the instructor. Because of the one-on-one nature of our courses, you'll find them an excellent "coaching" or mentoring situation that will keep you inspired. If you want to just work on your own, that's fine too. We're also here throughout the year if you have questions.
You will need a digital camera if you intend to submit your artworks on-line.

Cost

$139, program # 9041. Work at your own pace and take up to a year to finish. You will earn 3.0 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) when you complete this online art course. See how to register
